PA6 glass fiber reinforced slices have the same process, formula, and even the same equipment, but the quality and performance of the slices produced may be very different. This is the detail of control.
Take the control of the length of glass fiber in PA6 glass fiber reinforced slices as an example. Generally, we control it to 0.4-0.8mm to achieve the reinforcing effect. If it is too short, it can only have a filling effect. If it is too long, the surface of the injection molded part may not be smooth enough. However, to accurately control the length of the glass fiber, it is necessary to control the shearing conditions of the screw. The material must be melted by more than 85% at the entrance of the glass fiber. The temperature at the entrance of the glass fiber must be controlled above the melting point of the material. If the temperature fluctuates too much during production, shearing may cause excessive fragmentation or excessive length.
In fact, there are many production details of PA6 glass fiber reinforcement, which are listed below:

1. If flame-retardant or dark-colored PA6 modified products are produced, a high-level machine cleaning is required when switching to PA6 glass fiber reinforced products. Otherwise, the product color may not be ideal for more than one shift.
2. Modification production is very sensitive to the moisture content of raw materials. With different seasons, different on-site humidity, whether the glass fiber is damp, and whether the materials are used in the correct order, the color and performance of the produced enhanced slices may fluctuate greatly.

3. PA6 glass fiber reinforced materials can be produced with both 70 screw and 75 screw. The greater the 70 screw speed control, the more conducive to increasing output. However, excessive speed during 75 machine production may cause material degradation and discoloration.
